Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Patricia Geraldine Thebez is a second-year fashion student based in Singapore. Since she was little, she has a big curiosity and interest in Art. Involved in many activities and competitions such as drama, performing arts, story telling. She is in love in anything theatrical, historical and cultural. When she was 16th she decided to leave her senior high school year and enroll a fashion courses at Lasalle College of the Arts.
She began her journey in fashion field by working as dressers and assistant stylist for fashion shows and local magazines.
In 2008, Patricia started to design costumes for events, performances and advertisement.
She has also trained by few companies such as Kevin Seah Haute Couture, Fun Characters International (Marketing Licensee of Walt Disney Company), where her jobs have included using different methods and techniques in constructing garments, further knowledge of material used. Designing collections by understanding various target market, know the development process of creating products, defining the right style in design for the right target market to create compelling products.
Participated in few shows and exhibition such as Imagine for Red, a fashion contest for HIV/ Aids Awareness organized by AIESEC. Patricia also directed and conceptualized [Sheyps] For Peace, a student initiated fashion art show, which involves collaboration between Lasalle’s fashion designers, fine artists, media artists and one of the leading photographer and creative director in Jakarta, Jerry Aurum.
These duties combine with her interests in photography, film, philosophy, architecture, art driven her to pursuit her passion in making clothes.
When she is not working, Patricia likes to read, research, visit new places, learn new things and simply getting inspired.
